Varanasi Sarees are almost a traditional wear among the Hindus and is flaunted on several occasions, where the women desire to carry themselves out in grace and style. The weight of the saree is a little on the heavier side considering the amount of effort of craftsmanship put into it. However, it does little to wave their impact on women. Even the exquisite Jari work on the sarees and other garments are quite magnificently done and are bought up for a finer taste. Handicrafts and wooden styled showpieces and dolls are always there to mesmerize the tourists, who visit this religious place.

Being a center to the Benares Gharana of music style, this place has produced several great musicians in the Indian history, who have acclaimed fame throughout the world.
